It's lack of detail! I'm not talking about the forum. The forum is very useful. And members affiliated with the site, often encourage you to buy your parts at the iboats store. And thats a very fair request. But your product information is so limited on (in my experience) MOST of your items. It's usually ONE picture, maybe an "enlarged" version, maybe not, and either no description, or a very limited description. Throw me a bone at least! Right now I'm looking at Tachometers. Most of them don't even tell you the diameter of the gauge. That's KIND OF IMPORTANT information.

You want to sell more boat parts. Help us help you! Most of your items have a BARE MINIMUM listing. There is a hell of a lot of room for improvement. There's NEVER a picture of the BACK of an item.

And while i'm crabbing, the URL scheme this site uses is also horrible. Putting the session ID and cart ID in the URL makes it very hard to share links to items. Which is just one more obstacle in selling parts on the site.

Re: You know what I DON'T like about this website...

iboats does their best to constantly improve the site. I will be sure to forward this comment to the appropriate person.

While we always appreciate such positive comments, I will close this thread since its really a suggestion and not something that requires discussion.

Thanks.
