Hi John, Ihave smart tabs on my aluminum boat, in fresh water,do i need zincs on tabs? thanks . J,C,

jc1933;<br /><br />Most likely not. Fresh water is usually not as conductive or corrosive as salt water, however there have been a few instances where this was not true. If you pull the boat and store it on a trailer when you are not using it then you should be OK.<br /><br />Do not confuse rust (stainless steel is less susceptible to rusting) with corrosion from electrolysis. Electrolysis can advance rusting but it is entirely different.

Thanks verry mutch John for the quick reply, Oh by the way your tabs are getting popular in my area, i demonstrated to two of my friends last fall and they both ordered each a set yesterday. J.C. :) ;)
