I had a Zippo that I bought in 1992 that was the best lighter I ever owned. One night in 2000 my buddy sat it down in a place where we were playing pool and it disappeared. Since then I have bought two others, and they suck compared to my first one (yes, I smoke, I am going to quit, but for now I smoke)

It seems like the wick doesn't draw fliud like it should on both the new ones (and they are the expensive models). I have to fill them more often than I did the old one, and lighting them is a total body workout for my thumb  What gives?? Not to mention that the old only leaked once when I over filled it, the new ones leak every time I add fluid. I had to quit carrying them in my pants pocket because that stuff burns!!!

I bet you can find a nice classic one like the one you lost on eBay cheap... Life's too short to live with a ****ty lighter :D Colibri still makes high quality lighters. I just sold a bunch on eBay wioth built in cigar cutters and the went like hot cakes. Almost everybody used the buy it now.

If you decide to go with a windproof lighter just make sure you buy a good one. I just sold a bunch of high quality one with built in laser pointers - great for the boat.

Ronson's stink!

Hey Ralph do you have your own Ebay store type deal. I remember seeing people advertise all the different stuff they sell on there instead of looking up each item from a person. If so could you include a link to it so I can see the stuff your sellin. Thanx :)

Soulwinner e-mail me and I will tell you what to pack that lighter with and it won't leak and what wick to put in it. Carry one myself for the last 30 years. The secret is in the packing. It is what they use to pack them with
coofficer@blomand.net
