Hi all,
I've aquired an old zodiac inflatable and am searching to find some more about it. Its model number is on the transom plate as 2629. What model/years does this relate too? It is also rated to 55hp, approx 4m long and aluminimum floor (although this is ill fitting and could be a replacement)
It also has the large chromed valves that can supposidly turn to select an individual chamber or all chambers however these are ceased.
What I'd like to know is the
model name and approx age if possible
boat material used (hypalon or PVC)
any instructions/directions for stripping the valves down and reconditioning
I'll attempt to attach a picture below to aid ID too.
I also have a few floor questions... The aluminium floor is supported on both sides by floor runner things, the floor is three sections but the supports only cover two, I think they may have been cut down. In use the floor obviously can come apart (and has) at the unsupported sections all solution suggestions welcome. And finally the floor will sit tightly below the strip of ply attached between the sponsons near the bow but i think it should butt up against it (although there is no groove etc to lock it here.) the ply board that sits at the front over the keel valve also is too short to reach back to the bit of ply I already mentioned.
All suggestions and ID's gratefully recieved!
Joe
