i have a zodiac medline 3 . How do are the tubes attached to the hull?
do they slide into a channel and then bolt on? I have a flap on the bow with surface bolts. the tube on the starboard side seems to have slide forward and created a spot for water to enter between the hull and tube.

No, they are not glued on. The Medline series uses removable tubes.

Re: zodiac removable tube system?

There's a channel molded in to the glass hull, and the tubes have bolt ropes attached to them. When the boat is new out of the box, the tubes are slid down the length of the hull and then secured to the hull using the bolts that go through the flap in the bow and again at the transom (on most models - it's possible the Medlines are different).

It's an approach I wish everyone would take on their big RIBs. Anyone who o have repair work done on their tubes can appreciate why removable tubes are the way to go.
