Re: ZOMBIE Apocalypse

I was shocked when talking with a high ranking official in the National Guard, a highly decorated officer in the "regular" Marines, serving several tours in Iraq / Afghanistan since Dessert Storm, began to tell me of the Zombie Guard, or Militia that is in, I think he said, 47 of the 50 states! He gave me a website, but it was late at night, in an airport between flights, and till I got home I had forgotten it. Although you could tell that to him it was a joke, he was impressed with the passion and the amout of people involved in this. He signed on just to learn more and see what these people were doing. He said he was amazed at the level of organization and determination these people had ... All to guard us from the inevitable Zombie attack!

Kind of odd when a beurocracy developes a sense of humor. Hey its working and getting a lot of attention. I heard about it on the radio.

From the site:

2.Pick a meeting place for your family to regroup in case zombies invade your home?or your town evacuates because of a hurricane. Pick one place right outside your home for sudden emergencies and one place outside of your neighborhood in case you are unable to return home right away.

I guess their thoughts were that people were getting to desensitized to the huricane and the flooding and the earth quakes and the forest fires ETC.

So they threw you guys a curve ball and now your all paying attention!
