Hi,

I just purchased a Chrysler 35.
When I was inspecting the motor, the guy I purchased it from started it for me (first shot) then I did a compression test, and it all look OK.

Last night, I went to start it, and have two questions.

Q1. With the cover off the motor, and the motor switched off, I can hear, what sounds like an electrical clicking noise, is this a problem like a short somewhere?

Q2. The battery I was using was a bit low on charge, so it took a while longer to start as it did not have enought to turn over the motor. While this was going on, I noticed that some drops of fuel driped out of the carby. Also, after running the motor, it leacked a small amout of fuel, half way down the leg of the motor.
I noticed the bleeding fuel when I inspected the motor, and the guy told me that it was just that the motor had not warmed up enought, and it was excess from the carby, is this true, or is it more like the float is stuck? should I be worred about it?

Thanks for your comments in advance
Zep
