Back flushing?

I am wondering how I go about back flushing a 3 cyl 50hp merc. Thanks

If your talking about fresh water flushing after use in saltwater just buy a set of muffs and hook it to a hose and run it for a few minutes

I think that my cooling system might be plugged up and I was looking for a way to force water through it to clean it of debiris.

About the only thing you could do is remove the hose for the telltale at the block to see if thats whats plugged, is the engine overheating, with a good impeller you can not back flush and I doubt if it would do anything any way. If its plugged up myou will probably have to remove the exh. plates and the cyl. block cover
