So was George Orwell's 1984.(book that is) Many a chapter the Liberals have take for their own playbook.

Boomyal, You are correct, there has never been as much juveniles in trouble as there is right now. I work in that system and I could work two or three life times and have job security with them.

This method wouldn't be very effective at all for me at all.

I just showed it to my 9 yr old, and her eyes lit up as she says, and I quote, "AWESOME! Can we try that? Only it would be alot better facing the other way!"

I can't believe some bleeding heart in this forum hasn't disagreed that today's children lack disipline. I guess we all agree on something.The modern approach to "the chidlren can do the wrong" and "let them have their way" is why my father took an early retirement from teaching. People train and correct their pets better than they do their children. God said,"Spare the rod, spoil the child."

Ought to put the liberal bozos, who conceived the idea of no spanking, on the hood of that car. We did not have near the level of juvenile delinquency when teachers and parents wielded the paddle.

For once Boomyal I couldn't agree more. I do not believe in spanking as a first resort, but it certainly is in my arsenal of discipline tactics.

The Liberals, inch by inch, are destroying every tenent of what made this society great. The Rank and File Liberal, because all the reasoning sounds so logical (absent a true understanding of human nature) The Liberal Elite, because it destroys the fabric of this society and turns all into a quivering, incapable mass that become beholding to and dependent on the Liberal (Democratic) party!

OK, all is back to normal now, Boomyal is again a raving lunatic when it comes to trying to assail anything but bushy politics. The links he tries to make between society and the lunatics, er liberals are tenuos at best. The responsibility for the failure to maintain the solid fabric of a responsible considerate and law-abiding society fall on both sides of the aisle.

Very interesting that you should bring up George Owell's book 1984 Boomyal. Did you read it? I did, before 1984 too. Big brother is here, it's the bush administration. You can't deny that the government's secret surveilance does not essentially equate to the book's not-so-secret citizen oversight.

Today's government and that of the book 1984 are not that different. In the book the gov't doesn't care about the civil liberties of it's citizens and openly acknowledges it. In modern day America the gov't doesn't care about the civil liberties of it's citizens and secretly abuses them in order continue it's agenda.

Many years ago, while in high school, I dated this gothic chick. She was pale with jet black hair and the body of a goddess. Every time we make out, she would spank me on my behind and suggested that I was a bad boy. At first it was painful but after awhile I got used to it. It was "tough love". 8)


So yea, I say spanking is good.

My girlfriends son and his two kids live with her. All their life except for 3 years. That includes her son. He's 35 now. Her grandaughter calls the police on the dad and the dad calls the police on the daughter. When that happens, I stay home and wait for the dust to settle. I saw this stuff coming 7 years ago. She's rather liberal. Go figure.
