Thanks Boomyal, I own an old cruiser that has become quite the project. (It has gotten way out of hand of course.) And I was thinking of lightening her up a bit by rebuilding some of the heavy parts out of composites. I am still weighing the cost/benefits-time ratios mind you, but I would like to remove the old plywood hard top and build a laminated core top to replace it. Being that it is not load a bearing part, and I could form in one of those cool overhead radio boxes, the project may not be too far out reach. And using your bagging techniques may help move things along by doing all the glassing in one layer. Opposed to taking the time to do one layer at a time. Come to think of it the top supports could be replaced with anodized tubing....hmmm (see...way out of hand)
