Re: The Surge Is Succeeding
A paragraph quote from the article for the blind amongst us to see.
"Some observers are reporting the shift. Iraqi bloggers Mohammed and Omar Fadhil, widely respected for their straight talk, say that "early signs are encouraging." The first impact of the "surge," they write, was psychological. Both friends and foes in Iraq had been convinced, in no small part by the American media, that the United States was preparing to pull out. When the opposite occurred, this alone shifted the dynamic."
The rank in file Hillary/Kerry/Gore/Dean/Pelosi/Reid Democrats are not any more astute at assessing cause and effect than they are at connecting the dots.
What in Heavens name did that other half think was going to happen when their news media was full of doom and gloom for these ought years? But then that's just the point, they didn't. They just followed their leaders, blindly hoping for some more government control over their lives and more Government handouts.
All the while, their leaders new exactly what the effect would be. We would lose, so would the Conservatives.
