I saw The Seasoned Traveler on PBS last night & the impression I got was all you Seattleites are backpack-totin', hiking boot-wearin', Starbucks-drinkin', Boeing employees.

Well, that's mostly true....
But we do have this little place called 'Microsoft'.....

They showed a real nice aircraft museum there - but no computer museum yet, I guess

People think cajuns are dumb, uneducated swamp rats.

Some are dumb, just like anywhere else. I happen to be a cajun with a college degree, and know several like me.

One thing that is true, we have the best food down here, bar none!

People think Arizona is a desert wasteland, hmmm... Over half the country's population can't find AZ on a map. Many don't even know it's a state.

I'll say yea to that, i've been married to a cajun for 19yrs and i can modestly say that the folks down there surely know the difference between a Rue and a Roux. d
