Basically, you will remove the air silencer and starter to gain access to the VRO pump. Then remove VRO pump wiring and fuel lines to it. Remove pulse limiter from the crankcase and replace with brass nipple. Hook up pulse fitting on the new pump to the brass nipple. Hook up incoming fuel line to pump inlet. Hook up the fuel line to the carbs. You will need to make a small mounting bracket for the new pump. I just used a piece of metal stock and used an existing engine bolt to mount it to. Once you get the old VRO out of there, there is tons of room to work. I used part number 438559... Looks like this:

In the photo below, the yellow circle is where the original pulse fitting (Vacuum signal) was. I removed that and went to Home Depot and picked up a new brass 3/8" hose barb. The hose from it connects to the bottom of the pump where the red circle is. I used 3/8" tubing for it. As for the bracket, I don't know about an original one. The pumps are so light they almost stay there by themselves with the hoses connected. Very simple to use a small piece of metal stock to hold it. You can get one of those real small L brackets at the hardware store for about .50 and use that..
