I recently purchased a 1988 Evinrude 90 hp and have had some problems starting it. This is my first boat and I think I might have done something to the fuel line connection. I kept trying to start it and each time I did I primed the engine with fuel. After a couple of tries I noticed that the primer bulb was no longer getting hard, and when I looked at the engine I saw that the place where ther fuel hose connects to the engine (I have a quick connect there) just kept spilling out the fuel that was supposed to go to the engine. Is there a gasket of some sort where the line connects into the engine that I might have split? Could this be a different problem? Thanks for the help.
