Well,wish me luck guys! I have to be at the hospital at 6am in the morning for my back surgery.
I was not really nervous until today.I doubt i will sleep tonight....EEEK!
I'll just be glad when its over.Thank goodness they put you under for this..

Surgery is the easy part!! Best of luck with it.

My absolute best word of advice...... follow the Doctor's order's to the letter, listen to the therapists and do not rush the recovery. It is better to do it right once instead of learning the hard way and have it done a second time!

They prob'ly know what they're doin' better than your boat mechanic does. Been under the knife a few times myself, never easy going into it. Always wound up better than I was before. Not as good as new, but, then, I ain't.

Hey Gary i wish ya the best of luck, with today's modern medicine this operation should be a breeze...........Umm just one thing, when the nurse come's in and don's the rubber glove and ask you to bend over.......be careful.....dont make any sudden move's.....

good luck..what exactly are they doing....laminectomy, fusion , kyphoplasty?

Good luck. Been there, done that. Laminectomy/Discectomy on L5-S1 at age 28.

Surgery was great, just be very careful during the physical therapy to follow. I had a therapist I really question who I believe did more harm than good. Second round a year later got things back to near normal.
