Need to take the plunge.

Any comments on units that you use/used and like or hate?

Thanks

Only used one. Totaline P474-1050. No complaints. Have the same one at home as the server room at work. It's a fairly basic one.

For an inexpensive programmable, this one can't be beat. Installed many with no problems..

Re: Programmable Home H/C Thermostats

I used to have a Honeywell programmable and it worked find, now I have a Hunter Programmable and I think it's so much better than the Honeywell. It tells me when the filter needs to be changed, automatically switches between heat and A/C, and has a button you press if you're home for the day so it'll keep the temperature comfortable all day where it might have cooled down/warmed up while you were away at work. The back light is a nice feature too.

I saw some no-name brand the other day at the hardware store that had a remote control - I thought that was kind of cool too... not sure how much I would use it though.
