Mercruiser trim goes up but not down

I have a 70 imp boat with a mercruiser I/O tue trim goer all the way up but it wont go down .how do i bleed it or what is the problem?

No Bleeding necessary,......
You might try Greasing the pivot pins

What engine and outdrive do you have?

It has a inline 6 cylinder and a mercruiser stern drive

Welcome to iboats......
Does the trim motor make noise when you push the down button?.....
If it does try having a helper push the down button while you stand or apply downward pressure.....
There is alot more psi going up than down in the pump, & sometimes a bit of corrosion can make it tight...
Greasing the hinge pins & anchors pins would not hurt....
How freely does it move up & down with the trim rams disconnected at the aft end?.....
If that doesn't work, you may have pump problems....
You need Merc. Manual #1, I think I have a free link, but it is a big download, let me see if I can find it.....
