riser/mainifold replacement cost

Does anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost to replace the risers and manifold on a Mercruiser I/O?

i just bought new risers and manifolds for my merc 5.0 v8 305ci for $440 off of ebay with free shipping, from doug russell marine

Cast Iron will run between 430.00 and 480.00 for the set
Aluminum will run between 530.00 and 650.00 for the set
Oem will cost the most $$$$$$$$$$$$$

You need to determine if you have wet or dry joint exhaust. Dry joint (2004 and later) is not available from any aftermarket sources as far as I know. Merc OEM dry joint lists around $1,300 plus install. If you need a riser kit, add another $500.00. This will seem cheap when you see the price of the new catalyst exhaust system.

Well, I was at a local Merc dealer the other day and he was showing me the parts diagram for the V8 (I think it was a small block, but not sure) catalyst exhaust. It had three catalyst cartridge type things in each manifold for a total of 6 per engine. The replacement cost for ONE cartridge was over $700.00!
