why does my iboats keep logging me out?

it doesnt do it on explorer nor chrome....only on firefox.....but its faster, or would be if i didnt have to log in every 5 mins.

I assume you have done the remember me?
Do you have "accept cookies" checked ?

I use Firefox 3.0.6, never log out and have never been kicked out either.

yep i did the "remember me" and it does.............i just have to click on "log in" every once in a while. as for cookies i think i have it on but i dont know..........i just learned how to post pics last week or so.

the funny thing is my other 2 internet progs doesnt do this....explorer----super slow , chrome----ok , firefox-----works the fastest, but boots me off---not completely off the site just logs me off...

My firefox kicks me also. I have just gotten use to it. I like firefox, so it doesn't phase me. I only happens when I idle for a couple minutes.

Have you checked Options>Security>Passwords and check the remember password?

i can barely work the comp........i do hit the "remember me" and it does---every time it asks me to log in.

i was just thinking i did something and dont know how or when.

i appreciate yalls help........but i might be a lost cause.......i can barely work this thing.

We'll work with you, don't give up.

In Firefox on the menu bar click on Tools, then Options. Click on the Security icon and check the Remember passwords for sites, then click OK

This happens to me in IE. I suspect that it's due to something I have setup by the way of security. I hadn't given it much thought - dosn't bother me too much. If I were researching this, I'd look into my cookie options - maybe there is a time-out or something. Next possibility would be looking at the other security software that I have: the spybot "TSR" thing, and my anti-virus, etc. I also seem to recall enabling cookie cleanup upon exit, that would be something to look at as well..

Knowing that it also happens to someone else with a different browser could take the research in a different direction - as in trying to figure what we both have running that's the same (not the browser.. ). Or, what settings are in-common, but are different from other people.
