Big game wakeboard fishing (stupid?)

Sorry not a U-tube video just a weird thought rather vision I just had.
I know some of you guys from the coast that fish have those big deep sea rods like the one Quinn uses in "Jaws"
Well, I just imagined a fisherman like Quinn starpped in a chair with big wakeboarder on, behind the boat a kid on a wakeboard is just getting a ride of his life while fisherman pays out the drag to get the kid just in the right spot to do a nice jump, it seems like both the wakeboarder and the fisherman would have a blast.
We don't need no stinkin tower, ha ha ha !
When wakeboarder is ready to come in you just reel him up to the side and gaff him in I guess.

I'm going to try that tin can one of these days,
All I know is while watching this fishing show today a guy hooked into this sail fish that went something like 300lbs, it was jumping into the air strugling to get free, at that point is when the vision came to me (a wakeboarder yea) I think it could work, I searched u-tube looking for a video but no luck. Maybe I'm onto something new here someone should try it.

LOL, I really dont think he is going to be able to hold the forces of a Rider on a hard edge.

The initial forces required to get up on plane are many times greater than while up on plane.
