Trim hot wire question

I need to raise my lower unit so I can get my boat outside for a bath, post fiberglassing deck. I have removed all trim/throttle controls. I'm curious if I connect the 12v power for trim motor to battery, and connect the R-PU (red-purple = trim switch power) and the BL-W (blue-white = Trailer-up) wires, will this work for raising the trim? Or do I need to connect the switch on the throttle back up? Now it's attached to the side panel currently out of the boat.

Ayuh,...

If you put Power to the trim motor,...
Yes it can be jumpered to raise thedrive, without rewiring the whole thing....
