Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself to the board. I'm 32 years old, and live in Northeast Florida. I'm married with three kids - ages 9, soon to be 8, and 2.5. I recieved two BS Degrees in Engineering from NC State back in 2000 and since then I have been working in the Pulp & Paper industry.

What brings me to I boats is the fact that I have recently become the owner of a 1985 SportCraft Fish n Ski 160 with a 90hp Johnson. My knowledge of boating is pretty limited and I see this as a good way to educate myself and get to know some fellow boaters.

That pretty much sums it up for me. I look forward to getting to know you guys through the threads.

Safe boating!

Engineering is a pretty wide field. Could you be a little more specific?

Mechanical
Electrical
Biomedical
Civil
Industrial
Chemical

These are all Engineering degrees available. There are many many others. Just trying to figure out your area of expertise/knowledge.

I work in a Mechanical Engineering firm and am always glad to see fellow engineers wherever I go.

A big Welcome Aboard to you Mrs. FBPirate! But sadly I'll be honest, boats are a new baby that never grows up...lol I am sure you are his first priority of course! My better half has the "if I can't beat him (legally) then I'll go sit and watch him sweat, cuss and throw stuff then ask "Hows it going babe??" with a little giggle mentality! Bless her heart! ;)
