Need help with finding info on 20hp Johnson

I have an old 20 hp Johnson without the serial number plate on the transom. I searched the net and have the numbers off the freeze plug. Will these be of any help for someone that is knowledgeable about these things to tell me what yr it is and what manual I need to order for it.
The numbers are: 25R75B

I found it. Looks like its a 25 not a 20.

Looks like it's a 1975 25HP. These motors are junk. Door stops, paper weights, boat anchors. Let me know where you are and I will come and safely dispose of it for you.

Heh Heh - yeah, I could use a few more 25hp anchors myself! Interesting story - I saw one of these at a garage sale last summer. Lady wanted $75 for it. It was really dirty and smelled like cat urine. Had mice nested inside, but the wires and hoses looked ok. I offered her $35 and she took it! I took the thing home, cleaned it up and connected it to a tank and battery - she fired right up! Boy, did I feel guilty - but not guilty enough to go back and offer her more money

Wow!!! Sounds like you guys are stealing these things. I just payed 225 for mine and he said it was a 20 so I think I did alright. Meeds a little cleaning but runs good. I'll freshin it up and put it on a Lowe 1440 and then its off to the races

Believe me, those deals are few and far between. $225 is a great deal for a 25hp of that vintage.
