Well Ok but the only closed bow open cocpit starcrafts I have seen with a padded runway were Holidays and I dont wanna chance it on mine :D . Andy and I have pretty much the same boats . I havent seen a Jupiter with Bow rails either I figure no bow rails I am not supposed to climb out there :D.

I hear ya, and considering what a good job you guys are doing on your SC's I agree, my buddy just wanted to get his on the water to fish...not concerned with the restoration as much.:mad:

Bow rails invite people to venture out for sure, maybe better if the captain is the only person stepping up on the bow anyways.:D

i actually plan to use the bow to get out while beached. im going to reinforce the underside with some 2x2 or 2x4, eventually replacing those with some aluminum tubing. the previous owner had put a 2x4 under the dash tray for people to step on, and was pretty sturdy. i'll do the same.

Sounds like a good plan Andy...man I love how those Jupiter's are laid out with the walk-thru:D

I've been thinking about a 15'-18' Holiday or SS but Jupiter's are now on the short list of SC's I desire, thanks for the inspiration.

thats right, i wouldnt have to go through what oops! went through...

actually the more i think about it, i'd like to design and create a 22-25 ft walk around cuddy... that way we can have the cuddy, but be able to get out onto the beach easily.

well, all the kids are gone, finally...

so let me tell you about something that happened...

you know you are really into fixing boats when you reach into your pocket to get your phone and pull out 5 stainless steel screws, and you havent even been working on the boat that day!

Andy I am guessing the cables are whats not quite long enough :D. The side panels look good . Looks like you should make a splash this comming weekend if you keep it up :D.
