Got home from a day on the lake and decided to wash my boat inside/outside. Started at the bow, washing away in blissful ignorance when I hear the bilge pump turn on, pumping water out of the hull.....forgot to remove to transom plug :)

Better than doing it the other way around at the launch ramp...

It was a float switch test and it passed.

Must be nice to be able to wash in the driveway. The water police would write me a big fat ticket right now. I had to find a car wash with 10ft + clearance and wide enough maneuver areas to wash mine this weekend. Even this sucked when compared to doing it right. Oh well at least I'm in freshwater.

always pull your plug, when you trailer the boat. i have seen boats with water over the carbs, just from a thunderstorm.
