Hello,

I just wanted to post some pictures of my new boat.... I bought it back in Late June 2009 from a dealer near my house... I may have paid a little more by getting it at a dealer but, i know that everything was working and i was ready to boat. I just didnt get around to posting pictures because my camera was broke and i was boating too much....

It is a 1990 Wellcraft Eclipse 186 XL
4.3L mercruiser V-6 w/ power steering
EZ- loader trailer...

I have used it about 30 hours so far.... and i really like it... The family tubes/ ski's and the v-6 provides plenty of power. and it doesnt suck the gas.... It is very quite with the full width engine hatch.... Solid floor and a few scratch on the hull, but nothing major... its 19 years old and it look alot newer IMHO. I really the size of the boat because it will fit in my 22 foot deep garage (once i put the swing tongue on) and it tows nice behind my truck...

Here are some pictures...

Thanks for the replies.... IF i had an actual Digital camera i am sure the pictures would look better... ( all i have is my camera phone.)

I look at wellcrafts webside and they dont appear to make any more i/o boat.... they make alot of fishing boat...

I really like the ride of the boat, it may be heavier that a comparable 18.5 footer, but it handles the waves nicely

Just one question....I see blue sky, it's daylight, what's it doing in your driveway? Nice boat, congrats, now go boating.

I took those pictures at around 300pm Central time and we went boat around 500pm central tonight....

I like it later when the traffic is less..

Good question...

Well is use a photo hosting site called. www.photobucket.com It free to use.

You up load your pictures to the website, then when you ready to post on iboats, you enter the "IMG" tag from Photobucket, directly in the text of the post, and it will appear like mine did...

If you use iboats to "attach" the photo, then you will only get a thumbnail size and everyone must click on it to make it larger. ( Pain in the butt for readers BTW)

the bow is a little high because the trailer jack is all the way up... and the roller trailer just sits that way.., when at rest in the water the bow is pretty level...... but when doing watersports, that "low" stern makes some good wake....

Very nice looking boat, congrats:D...what's the top speed on her?

Top speed is 49mph speedo and 45mph GPS at 4700 rpms

prop is a mercury 3 blade 14.25x21p alum.

I think that is plenty fast for a 3000lb boat with A V6
