hi, i have a 98 bayliner with a 3.0 inboard and alpha one drive and i can not find the grease nipple to grease the spline/u joints before i put it away for the winter?
There should be a grease zirk on the coupler tube sticking out the back of the coupler, but you will have to pull the drive to do the ujoints. Might want to head up to the adults only sticky and read the winterizing articles. Sounds like you might be missing a few steps.
To properly service everything you really should remove the drive.
U joints, check for oil loss or water intrusion, lubricate the shift components.
