engine coupler grease nipple

hi, i have a 98 bayliner with a 3.0 inboard and alpha one drive and i can not find the grease nipple to grease the spline/u joints before i put it away for the winter?

you have to remove the drive to grease the u joints.

There should be a grease zirk on the coupler tube sticking out the back of the coupler, but you will have to pull the drive to do the ujoints. Might want to head up to the adults only sticky and read the winterizing articles. Sounds like you might be missing a few steps.

It's on the coupler tube. The coupler spins, so does the tube. It may be pointed away from you so you can't see it.

yep i found it, did not think that part moved so thats why i was having problems locating it, thanx alot

To properly service everything you really should remove the drive.
U joints, check for oil loss or water intrusion, lubricate the shift components.
Half *****ed is half done

was not going to pull the drive off this year as i just got it and it was all done before i got it and i only put 10 hours on it
