As much as i hate to admit it the boat and the camper are both getting winterized this week, also I will be servicing the snow plow getting it ready for plowing season

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I checked over & started up the snowblower last weekend...ugh.

We've already had a couple of early frosts and high temps not much above 50-- it's like November already. In a season when summer didn't start until late July.

Hoping to get a weekend or 2 of Indian summer weather and some time to fish before the looong winter.

Northern season ended last week, winterized just as a precaution.

Headed to Ft Myers for the southern season on October 30, so I guess season doesn't end just re-locates!!

Unfortunately, I believe my season will be over very soon. Below is a pic that was taken yesterday at my little lake in upstate ny. It was a gorgeous day to burn some fossil fuel....

Mine starts on Jan 1 and ends on Dec 31, oh wait that is 12 months out of the year. Once in a while drain the block when the weatherman thinks it may get cold, just in case.

I may pull the Missouri boat of the lift this afternoon. Time to close the place up and head to Texas. The Texas boat is usable year round.

It snowed up here last weekend. So I pullled the boats out. Now I have put my boat IN in a snow storm, and now OUT in a snow storm!

I put stabilizer in the gas and drove it to the boat ramp. I pulled the drain plugs on my IO and covered it up with the cover till I get around to winterizing.

one benefit to a little tinny and a small oputboard is all I need to do is add sta bil to the gas and I can run till the ice comes. when it gets too cold, the outboard gets carried inside.

My boating ended today. Boat is in the yard for the winter. Will launch in April.

Well, my official boating season ended one and a half weeks ago on Saturday when I winterized the big boat. It will not start again until mid May.

But, I still have the pontoon on the water ready on a whim, and if I get off my duff and replace the seals on my 15h, I can take out the flat bottom.
But, I don't really fish anymore, and I don't like the cold.

I'm in Southern Ohio and the year appears to be shot..............This hasn't been one of the best seasons. The summer here has been unseasonably cool and wet. I'll probably winterize sometime next week. I'm envious of you guys in the warmer climates, but the change of seasons is awesome. Especially, Winter to Spring.

Sometime in November usually. I don't know, we've had VERY below normal temps this month, next month might be well above normal....I might milk the season into December.
