HIJACK!!! Let me jump in here - I've noticed that a lot of us iboaters are also into model railroading. Personally I'm an N scaler that tries to model the Pennsylvania Railroad with the B&O and N&W running through on occasion. For those that don't know n scale is 1:160 scale modeling. Either way, I live in an apartment so am currently limited to collecting equipment as I have no room for a layout.

I've been buying a bunch of brass locomotives off ebay and other sites over the last 10+ years. Here's a picture of my Key Imports PRR I-1sa 2-10-0, road number 3720 (peaches not to scale!:D):

I actually took pictures of 4 different locos but this is the only one that showed up halfway detailed. Obviously photography isn't another of my hobbies!

Oh man, how cool is that! Sucha screamin' good deal! I hope one of our guys picks it up!

Speakin' of screamin' good deals... HIJACK!!

I got one a week ago! You know, the great kind you hear about somewhere, but never really see? Some friend of a friend lucks out and gets them, or some guy in a store or bar talks about a buddy who got one back in the day.

Sometimes I DO get lucky! :D

I tinkered around with my camera to see if I could get some better pictures and it turns out...it has a close up mode...DUH!! The pictures still aren't great, but they're better. So here are some more of my recent purchases:

Pennsylvania RR K-4s 4-6-2 road #5484
028.jpg

Baltimore & Ohio RR P7d 4-6-2 road #5301
030.jpg

Pennsylvania RR RS-3 road #8481

And a few of them together:

Any other model railroaders out there besides me & ezmobee?

Very cool Bob. A good friend of mine is in an N scale modular club. Love to go and check them out when they're displaying. Their modules are built to a standard so they can hook up with other clubs if they want to.

Bob
check out these Baltimore and Ohio RR stock certificates from the early 1900s and some from 1800s.... $3 plus $2 shipping! ebay would go great with those cool n gauge trains! neat stuff! (your trains)

Pennsylvania RR stocks here

It seems like when I worked a regular job, I had more time for hobbies...I would very much like to do the N gauge or Z gauge vignette....do all the buildings custom, made from styrene and balsa....acetate windows...grain of wheat lamps etc...little mining town and roundhouse...fun stuff!
one day!!!!!!! we do have a 3 rail lionel set, its more for the kids though, Christmas set up around the tree etc...too big for doing a perma set up

Nice Trains Guys, I collect O gauge, I'll try to post some pics tonight when I get home although I don't have a setup that can compare to Ez I only set mine up at xmass for the kids.

Great work on the trailer Vegas, one of these days I have to get back into it and get mine done. Stopping me right now is that its a roller, I was thinking of trying to convert it to a bunk. Haven't really looked at it that much though

Hi Bill and thanks....in person it looks great........

Im sure roller trailers are cool, Ive only had bunk trailers....seems like rollers would be easy to lose a boat on the highway if the saftey chain and strap came loose or something....scary stuff!

I "Heart" BUNKS! lol

I don' like he roller trailer, with it you have concentrated load points on the hull. Doesn't work to well if your trying to rebuild the boat on the trailer:eek:

P.S. Here you I.M'ed with wifey the other night , sorry bout that, drank a 6 pack and fell asleep lol.

P.S, Hey Vert did ya notice I kept the drink holders on the boat. There's a reason for that, I almost spend as much on beer as resin lol

Bill O'Reilly gonna get you for the take off on the no spin zone, plus I know why a lot of us buy and restore 500.00 boats. (Spent all the money on guns)

Anyway this isn't political but I really don't want big brother knowing what I own. The last new gun (registered) I bought was a 270 for my son. Now Mom uses it and son uses his passed down 30-06. I would sure like to pick up a glock but college seems to take up most of my dispensable income.

Luck ya'll
