Hey guys - TOTAL newbie here - and totally new to owning a boat. From what I have seen on this forum there are some complete STUDS around with a wealth of information to share - so here I go.
I bought this boat about a month ago - it has a little bit of rash on the nose. I wish I had better pictures, but I already put the boat in storage - and then I found this site -
Question/Questions - How do I go about repairing this? Is it a total "gelcoat" thing? Or is it more than that? The top looks like the "paint" is rubbed off (seems minor). The spot on the hull looks a bit deeper - and looks like it was rubbed until the fiberglass is showing a bit more....It is still solid, and the spot is obviously fairly small.....Just not sure what steps are required to fix, or how easily I can do it. OR - is it something I should just take to someone to fix - (If so, how much would the repair be?)
Thanks in advance for the replys!!
