Had a look in the adults only section of the Merc OMC engine area? Lots of manuals available.

Nothing for 85, Mercs .pdf file format manuals only go back to 1990.

try looking @ www.brunswickmarineemea.com

they have various manuals for downloads and cover most mercury and mercruiser manuals.save site to your favourites as you will probably forget it.
emea=europe,middle east,africa.

in the download center choose;operation and maintenance manual then;launch.
