Would be pleased for your help boat people. I am removing the upholstery that runs down the inside of my boat to have it re-upholstered. I have removed paneling from both sides but cant work out how to dismantle the throttle on the boats inside from the back mechanism (on the inside of the panelling). I want to leave the throttle and arm with the boat and remove the panelling which is fitted within both sides of the throttle assembly.
The throttle lever (on inside) has a hub cap that I am sure must access a nut that will disengage the 2 parts but I cant work out how to remove this plastic cap without busting it? Screw driver in one side looks like it will break under the pressure...
Would really appreciate your help
