Re: 70 Starcraft Jupiter Restore/Modification

Hi Andy, Got that, about 8' for twenty bucks from Fairview Marine. They're a salvage yard near PDX on the Columbia. It was the only Starcraft they had on the lot and was in really tough shape, but when you need it, you need it. And they're a "you pull it" kind of place. There is another one in the Portland area but found what I needed at Fairview.

Just about there, the only thing left are pole holders and fish finder. Gonna take her for a shake down sometime next week over at Devil's Lake. Sure there's gonna be some stuff to shake out. Anxious to see how this 25 rude does, more concerned about slow trolling speed than getting it on plane. Ain't she purdy!

That came out real nice. Should be a great, stable, fishing rig.

Well guys I guess you call this a done deal. Took her out on the lake and that 25 rude puts her on a plane with three adults and a 60lb dog, trolls as slow as you please, makes me very happy. Guess the only thing left is to wait for the Chinook to run and pick up my mess and all the leftovers and haul to the recycle yard. Thanks for all the support and interest.

Thanks Jas, might have set a record but it rained too much. Noticed your compilation of restoration threads, just another example of the love you guys share with Starcrafts. Don't know if mine qualifies, but I'd be honored. WCW
