This young women is in a bad spot and I hope that she is found soon!!

She has lost communication and two of her emerginacy beakans have gone off while solo sailing around the world. Her last known possition was more than 2000 miles from Africa or Austrila!

16 yrs old, alone on a 40ft sale boat 2000 miles from anyone or anything! I really hope she is ok.

I hate to see tradgidy at see but being so young really gets me, she has to be so scared!!

I've been somewhat following her when she sailed away.

There is hope. she has 2 emergency beacons that have been activated manually. The automatic beacon that is set off by water has not gone off. So she me just be in distress.

From what I read last, they should arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon.
High seas and winds. plus engine trouble earlier, radar..

I certainly hope they do get to her....

Yea they said the two manually activated beacons are both drifting at about 1mph according to GPS so that dont know if she is on Wild Eyes or in a lift raft.

I will be watching out for word on her status.

That was a question I had.
I guess one is a personal beacon.

I wondered it the beacons were together in he same location of it they were separated.

Would you want YOUR 16yo daughter on a boat full of French fisherman?

I would think if she can handle 20-40 foot seas, and wind of 50 knots.
She can handle a boat load of french fisherman.. Shoot a flare at em..

Its so awsome that she made it!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like she lost her mast, just saw the shot of her boat.

I feel good she is well but bad she couldnt finish her trip!

Can you guys believe the crap her parents are getting now!!!!!!!!!!

These people had nothing to say when she left but now that something happens people are calling for their arrest!

The public needs to keep their concentration on their own kids (who are porb out robbing liqueur stores and doing drug while they critique others) and stop telling people how to raise there kids..........this girl will end up achieving more then half the public because her parents provide her with the chance to take on such adventures.

If the public would loosen up and help their kids follow their dreams as these people did I bet we wouldn't have half the issues with todays youth as we do!!

Sorry I had to vent, I hate when people get all up in arms about things that other people do with there kids. as long as they aren't beating the hell out of them dont interfere with someone else parenting!!!!

Well she got bigger balls then anyone I know including me...I get nervous taking long trips across Lake Erie in a boat that has 180hp let alone a sale boat..........I think she can handle them!!!
