JUST A HEADS UP WARNING !!!!
EDIT MY BOAT WAS TAKEN THERE TO HAVE THE LOWER UNIT CHECKED AND ENGINE COMPRERSSION
GOT AN ESTIMATE TO REBUILD MY LOWER UNIT AND HALF OF THE PARTS LISTED WERE NOT EVEN FOR MY MOTOR. AND THEY HANDED EVERYTHING BACK IN A CARDBOARD BOX
SOME PARTS MISSING AND THE LOWER GEAR COVER WAS FRESHLY BROKEN INTO 3 PCS (THIS IS NOT A PART THAT WOULD BRAKE INTO PCS THE WAY IT WAS GIVEN BACK.
THEN CAME THE COMPRESSION TEST THEIR READINGS 150 , 30 , 80, 25 psi they advised not to fix the motor and should buy a new motor which he then tried to sell me a $9000 Yamaha
well i recently had the compression rechecked and the readings were 130 , 129, 130, 130 near perfect i also got the motor running and it runs perfectly
I called to talk to the owner to explain my findings he got very upset and defensive and then hung up on me. Funny thing is he remembered the boat without me telling me my name or anything about the boat. EDIT: Just the facts, GB. No bashing allowed.
