Quick question, I've taken off Alpha ones in the past many times, however I now own a Bravo one drive. My question is how much heavier is the Bravo one going to be when I take it off for the winter, will it be manageable by myself? Also, can anyone tell me where the drain plugs are on my 1990 7.4 Merc, I cant seem to find them in the manual?
Thanks guys

It is more than 2x the weight. I used to do my Alpha by my self. The Bravo 1 I have now is about 170lbs. I am going to come up with a stand for it.

HMMM. My B1 felt heavier than that. Maybe I am getting old and weak.

It happens before you know it. Just make sure you stick with 12 ounce beers, any heavier and there could be problems later :D

Yeah. The Bravo's are pretty heavy. I was able to R&R mine by myself but I used a hydraulic engine lift. It was quite a bit heavier than my old Dog-clutch King Cobra! And the props were removed too!

I certainly noticed the difference between the B1 and the B3. Of course it could have been the beers. Seems like you could almost play catch with the Alpha :D. I did not realize it was so light.

Howdy Ted! Can't seem to send you a PM here........Do you know off hand what the height is from the pavement to the top of your windshield...... (on a trailer) and do you have a radar arch on yours? (and if so, the height from the pavement to the top of it on a trailer?) Looks more and more that I cannot consider a 370 (as much as I want it........it just will not fit in my hanger!!!!!)

tnx!!

Howdy Rick:

I do not know exactly, but I can certainly measure it in about 3 weeks and report back as the boat will be on dry land by then.

No radar arch, just a bimini.

Great! will it be on a "regular" trailer?

Thanks!
