So today it is 14 and they predict 7" of snow starting this afternoon! That would be the biggest snowstorm in 12 years then we cap it off with a low of -8 on Wed morning! Yeah!!
Yeah homeboy our high today in the tri cities is only supposed to be 23. It's supposed to start snowing tonight with a forecast of 4-7 inches in the valley, with 12-16 inches in the mountains. I'm so ready for spring.
I almost hate to brag but our winter is gone here, high 50's no snow and the sun is out. Robins are in my trees and the bulbs are coming up. I love the mild weather here with all 4 seasons and miles of open water all winter long.
Crocus are in bloom out the back door... I'm going to start work on the Chief upgrades here in the next week or 2.
Well lets see.....yesterday hit -14 and this morning it is -25 and supposed to warm up to 3 by noon. Yea I'm pretty much done with this type of weather. My german shorthairs waste no time going out and doing their business and scurrying right back in. I usually don't mind a little bit of winter but this is getting ridiculous. Come on spring.
well my rental car just dropped the tranny in the middle of the snowstorm in the middle of Nowhere, KY. Just got a call from the tow truck and Enterprise (or Triple A) dispatched to the wrong place so not sure how long my 90 wait just turned into.
three hours and got back on road but just too much snow for everyone else they're driving 30 mph cant hang with that so found a Ramada for the night in Lexington

The NWS officially declared our lake 100% frozen today. It's the second year in a row, which is pretty unusual. -20's in some spots here tonight. I'm ready to turn the corner.
I think you all have to start a difference scenario with the cold winter. Old man winter loves it when folks complain and therefore sticks around longer. So you all have to talk about how you enjoy the freezing cold and the neat things you can do in the cold and snow. Then old man winter will leave for other places on Earth... Reverse psychology... And make it work so I can get back to working on my project boat too! :facepalm:
We got 2" of sleet and freezing rain Monday then another 1" or so of snow on top of that this morning with lows predicted to be below 0. They went ahead and cancelled school for the rest of the week. Our average high is 53 today and we made it all the way to 26. High tomorrow 18.
I got the Sea Nymph pulled out of the slumber party and plan on hitting the river this weekend for some pre-spawn wallys. Can't let this sunny and 50's weather go to waste.

Yeah I'll be thinking about you tomorrow there H2o. The low tonight here is supposed to be -7 with the windchill at about -30. Tomorrow's high is gonna be 10. This is North East Tennessee not North East Nebraska! Sheesh I'm so ready for spring. By the way I'm a heating and air service tech so I'm always out in the weather.
