Interesting that there haven't been a bunch of Chieftain builds over the last few years, but this year they're nearly 1/2 the nominations, in 3 different sizes.

Good luck to all the nominees and you've all done outstanding work

Great boats indeed. A lot of hard work, craftsmanship, and a whole bunch of heart & soul went into each tin. Well done!!

You people realize that at some point, undetermined at this point in time, you will be the cause of my wife kicking me in places I don't need to be kicked when I actually drag one of these home after I 'promised' her the Carver was the last boat we'd ever buy and dump too much money in?

Just wanted to post this so I can bookmark it so I can show her from the hospital room that it wasn't anything I could fight. It HAD to happen...

I'm constantly dodging frying pans for showing my wife all the Starcrafts on cl. She always responds with some cynical remark about us already having two boats, and then I bring her to this, and she starts to realize the potential that's out there. There is hope yet for Big Tin in my driveway yet.:D

I'm going to make a thread in the resto forum linking back here. It's always good to show off what the Starmada members can do. :D

I honestly can't vote for any of them! Why? Because it wouldn't be fair to the rest of them. They have all done outstanding jobs.

WOW what great projects each one of them. Isn't this synonymous to picking your favorite child? I wish we could see side by side before and after shots of each project without researching each project to see what each person started with and how their projects finished. While I do try to read lots of these boating projects, I don't get to see every one (just don't have that much time, boat project myself). I am excited to see so many others with very good craftsmanship abilities out there refurbishing these boats for new life.
