Help with old mercury ID

Just bought a 1958 Cutter Avon Hardtop boat to restore and was just trying to id the motor its serial # A1415448.

I'd guess it's a 6cyl 1961 Mercury 700, full gear shift, non-dock buster,

there is no "O" in the beginning.
