Any idea what make this boat is

The registration says 1971 15' brother. I'm trying to get some info about this boat buy have had very little luck finding any info

Looks like a Whaler or Carolina Skiff, but I can't find a "Brother" brand out there. Any capacity plate or SN anywhere? Got any more pictures? That one's a bit small.

Only plate I have on the boat is the serial number mszmt189f606

That MSZ# is a Massachusetts state issued HIN for a homemade boat. Thats common for boats built before HINs were standardized @1972 and until they were sold, there was no title or registration. It wont help you ID the actual maker.

Condition is much more important then maker when discussing a 46yr old flats style skiff.....

Since you mentioned condition being more important than the make. Are there any things in particular that I should check for that are common issues with this style of hull. I don't have any experience with this style of boat so I'm kind of learning as I go
