Hey guys sorry for so much questions but what do you guys think about running old gas. The seller said half of the gas is 1.5 years old the other half is .5 year old. Basically he didn't use the boat much and 2 years ago topped it off for winterization then used the boat last year and still had half a tank. he topped it off again and now I have the boat with full tank. He always used 92 octane. Is it okay to use?
The boat is a 2003 maxum 1900sr 35gallon tank

Gas is either good or not good...

Some of the additives may have evaporated out. Not much of an issue.

Bad gas smells REALLY BAD. Not the normal smell of gasoline. If it passes the sniff test you can run it.

Might want to drain it and put it in the lawnmower... but its useful.

agree, but if it were me I fill it up with new gas and run it. If it was winterized they put stabilizer in it.

Will give it the sniff test when I have time, if it's good should I use it up all in one day or use half then fill with fresh gas?

Oh yes the smell will tell. And if it still smells good, run it and happy boating. 35 gallons is a lot of fuel. I would use it if it smelled okay. JMHO!
