So I ordered the spring, seal, the blowoff button and a new housing. So when the motor is running, is water supposed to flow down that? does it open up? could this be why I get no water pumping?

When running at low speed the water flow would be controlled by the thermostat. Water would be recirculated back to the pump until it gets hot enough to open the stat. At higher rpms, the water flow is greater and the pressure valve would open to ensure adequate cooling.
If the pressure poppet is missing, it should allow the water to flow in the pattern of high speed operation. The cooling would be there but it would not be temp regulated. A flow diagram would explain it better than I can.

;):D:joyous::watermelon::flame: ITS PUMPING!;):D:joyous::watermelon::flame: Dumb me put the water tubes in backwards the first time....Not totally my fault, the previous owner did the same mistake. Now it pumps SO well!Still got some smoke in the cowl, but figured out that there are like 4 or five little wholes somebody driled in the exsaust housing. Il fill those with something. Also I have a little exhaust leak on the exhaust hosing. Those two bolt things that one goes to the head exchanger and one is open, the bottom one has a leak. I need to figure out how to fix that.... Maybe its stripped
