What size is the gas tank?

I just purchased a 1991 Smoker Craft boat, Magnum 161 is the model with a built in gas tank. Can anyone tell me how many gallons of gas this tank will hold??
Also, from what I can see of it thru the access port, it looks like a plastic tank. Is this possible to be plastic beneath the floor?? Thanks!

It's definitely possible that it is a plastic gas tank under the floor. Plastic tanks are really common.

I was not able to find a gas tank size for your year. The current 161 has a 16 gallon gas tank so I would guess yours is 15-20. If it's almost empty run it till empty and pump out whatever is left and fill it up full, that would show you the capacity

......further to this I would add they are the most common, in fact every boat I have owned had plastic tanks...and I was unable to get any info on the tank size.

If its a square or rectangle tangle tank i believe the formula LxWXH divided by 231= gallons If my memory serves me well.
