That could easily have ended up in a Boating Fails compilation. Kudos to them for doing it right

I've done that before, as the driver and as a passenger, so far it's worked every time. That one time when it may not work is always haunting you in the back of your mind.

In many parts of Alaska that?s the normal method of getting the boat on and off the trailer. Charter boats do it with a full load of clients every day.

On one of those I was wondering if they were ever going to shut the motors down ... Looks like still in gear ...

Looks like the first one on 'Carnage' was a jet... And that was the problem. Once he realised he wasn't lined up right and pulled the power back, no steerage....

Not seen it, but know a few guys from South Africa, and apparently that's the launch and retrive method they use too.... Scary!

Some how that really doesn't look like much fun o me. But then if I grew up there, it would seem normal I'm sure. Better have a really really water proof gear and electronics for those boats.

You forgot the well-swamped tractors. I bet they only last a few seasons. ;)

Seems like the y could pool their money together and build a protected bank or wall to launch their boats in and then drive out to the wave action. It isn't rocket surgery.
