Looking for a new gps/ chart plotter which is best???

I will be in the market for a new gps/ chart plotter soon. I will be looking for something with a 10-12" screen. I may add radar in the future so it will need to be able to add that. I have had several lost ace units and liked them but have been looking at simrad units recently. Looking for opinions and suggestions???

Does the Harmon 8212 come complete with transducer cables etc? Or would I be looking at 2k just for the head unit?

How does that compare with a simrad system?

All the big boys have the same features now a days, I am a fan of Garmin. Real easy to use.
it really depends on what you like the best. Just do your research and try and go to a dealer and play with the unit.

I have been looking at the simrad nss9 and 12. Seem easy to use and great features. Still investigating options
