Serial Number

Not sure if this is the serial number or not 7074122 I was told it was as 70s something but also we told there was nothing wrong with it. This is my first real boat. Trying to get the info needed to fix it up to use this year. Motor is a Merc 650.

I believe it's a Canadian 1976 model.Is it a 3 cylinder motor?

Mid 70s 650 serial#s 3807833 thru 4571651 were 1974-76

Early 70s 650s Ser#
3293184 thru 3807832. were 1972-73

2803562 thru 3293183 were 1970-71

And the 60s were even lower Ser#s, I dont think they made the 650 after 1976.

Check the ser# again and maybe post a pix of the tag on the transom clamp.

Unless its a Canadian made model. I dont have that info.

You're welcome..Just be aware that the serial no's differ between some countries.

USA = 3,4,5,6 O A B

Canada 7

Europe 9

Australia 8

The only # I could find was a canadian serial # starting at 7073473 for a 1976 model, last year of the 65 hp.
