91 v-200 blows fuse when trimming motor .

Have a 91 v200 that blows the main fuse when activating trim switch on side mounted t handle throttle controller. Does not blow fuse when using lower cowl mounted switch . Bad switch in handle. ?thoughts

Sounds like you got it about figured out. (The switch is likely okay) Likely your power wire is shorted to ground AFTER the fuse. Can you post the serial number so I can find the wiring diagram?
