2002 Merc 5.0 mpi alpha one gen two. If a boat has a beep from a fault code and the problem is fixed will it beep until the code is cleared? If so will disconnecting the batteries clear it? Thank you. RR

Unplugged low oil sensor for outdrive and it still beeped. For $20 I took a chance and changed water pressure sensor and that solved the problem.

My bad, I should have paid more attention that it was an MPI. The water pressure switch is the highest failure rated item. Glad you found it
