1989 Yamaha 115 Service Manual

Hello,

I am looking for a PDF version of the service manual for my 1989 115 service manual. I have found a few links by searching on google for manuals, however they do not offer a preview and I want to make sure that I am purchasing the correct manual. The model number is 115ETLF. I prefer to have the PDF so I can save it to my phone and always have it with me on the water.

find the manual part # on the Yamaha site
do a search.
Yamaha does not sell PFD manuals only hard copys.
they are copyrighted material.
if you find one in PFD it did not come from Yamaha

The service manuals do come as PDFs from Yamaha. ->See here
The repair manuals, which I assume is what you are after do not. You can eg purchase non-OEM version from SELOC (just google the name). The OEM versions are not available as PDFs.

The link you're providing is for owner manuals, which are offered free by yamaha. Service manuals, which I assume you are naming as repair manuals, are not free and not offered by yamaha. These manuals can be downloaded in pdf format from a number of different websites for a fee.

Most of those sites are offering illegal copies of copyrighted material amd are often poor sources to download material from. Their cheap because they want you to download stuff from them.....

Download them at your peril.

Purchase the service manual, its well worth the price.

Spend thousands on boats and motors, wont spend 50-100 to maintain them?

78 MarkTwain I recently just purchased the Yamaha Service manual for a 1989 115 Yamaha, Model 115ETLF, for $22 on ebay! The manual you are looking for is LIT-18616-00-41. I just checked and there is only one for sale on ebay for $40 (I am not the seller)

Before resorting to buying the service manual, I looked everywhere online for a free pdf copy and was unsuccessful for this year and model. Buy the real thing so you know you have the real thing and are not missing any pages or information.

I ended up finding a hard copy that I purchased. I will end up scanning it into a PDF so I can have an electronic copy. I like having the hard copy when working in the garage, but it's nice to not have to keep it with you when traveling. Hopefully I don't have to break it open out on the water, but better safe than sorry I guess. Thank you for the replies!
